the script, I love!!

just got the new "the script" science and faith album!! so amazing!! better then the last one. i think cause its more romantic, well most of their stuff are the type of songs that would swipe a girl off her feet if someone wrote that for her. =) I now realize the big difference that changed i my sense of music and how I enjoy it. when I was still young I'll end up googling about the singer/band and praise them but now I'll just get the mood from the music and apply to my life. so far the script has a very LOVE-ish feeling. and I'm in love and I can relate to it the most. =) but I did saw them on MTV once, kinda cute the vocals. I'm all into life music.

I'm so busy planning things that I'll never get to do in life. I think that's one of the reason I want to be a pilot. I just want to explore the world to its fullest, love to the extreme , dive to the deepest, feel pain like I never felt before. life is so short and I just want to do so much with it. I'm so excited for the next chapter of my life and I want to enjoy the most of it. then when I'm old and wrinkled, I want to share it and hopefully change a person's life.

I know these kind of things only happens in movies during the mellow soundtracks which sometimes put me in tears but I want to do it and that's what matters.

After finishing form six I've become more mature and spent time in places that I've never thought I'd spend and do things I never thought I'll ever do. for instance, I've never thought I'll ever be in a swimming competition but there I was last month with one gold and 2 silver.

I CAN BE ANYTHING I WANT!!
[this post might me out of my mind cause I didn't edit anything and just wrote what I was thinking while listed to the script o full volume]

Recently I just got back from KL for attending abang asyik and Kak jue's wedding. the whole family went to LBJ to celebrate the wedding there then his wife's side came to Brunei and we had another celebration here. their wedding was a blast and all the new traditions were cake to my eyes. *it sound better in my head*

With my new cousin-in-law (?)

for the past few days I have been waiting and waiting for a call from RBA for the pilot scheme. its so frustrating to wait and wait. The worst part is, I don't think I've been shortlisted. If I don't get through, I know I'm not a quitter and I'll try my best the next time or in any other path I take next.

Since I dont do anything nowadays, I started a new hobby. COLORING. Yes that's right. I've got a few master pieces to show but before that the photos are not really of the best quality cause my DSLR is now considered broken. I know right!! its either I buy a new one or spend more than $100 to send it to KL. =(
One more thing, I've fallen in love with the PANORAMA effect. I've been experimenting but its not going that well.

RAIN

Rainy season is here. Just loved the muddy roads and sleepless nights. NOT! living near the beach, the rainy season is the worst. I can listen to the waves crashing at night. I used to get terrified of the waves but after 11 years I just dealt with it. Now I can have a 8-hour sleep without being awake by the waves.

update about me and the world

right now I'm sitting in front of the tv ad watching CNN and BBC. Since I read only local news in the papers, I had to get my mind on what is going on in the world. Little did I know I missed A LOT! Namely: Women in Gaza is standing up. I guess they are fed up of being pushed by the men and the neighboring countries. It is not really a big deal because I see then as female soldiers and in the case of other countries, they would not really be made a big deal. Although their purpose of killing others is kind of alarming. Maybe because of their children who are threatened? . link Pakistan Punjab Governor was assassinated some guy trying to be a superhero . That is wicked. Its like watching kick ass but in reality One of the royal family was attacked. I think it was prince charles. didn't concentrate much about that. I also watched a documentary about prison in America. I remembered I had done something in school about this topic and I interest me a lot. I learned that there are people up to 100 years old in prison who don't get parole and not get released. Thats a bummer but what they did while they were young was not really acceptable. So I have been writing and writin and rewriting my personal statement and it is totally difficult. It is so difficult to speak bout myself. And then it hit me. Do I really know myself well? Sore arm

The one thing I can't stand after a tennis game is the sore arm. Now I'm practically writing with my right hand(cause I'm a left handed player)….. So sore. Will blog later when both my hands can be used properly.

Something to share…

Wikileaks. It has been a booming topic for the press for several days now and I predict it will still go on and on even after December. I have not gone through the website in detail just scanned through but there are some interesting things that I may point out. Maybe not cause it's a sensitive case. Just log on to the webbie and read for yourself. Good GK.

on the other hand, my birthday was awesome

here, we stay waiting for about 30 mins

sweet and sour weekend

Yes it’s the holidays and I am now free to do what I wish without worrying about datelines. It is so impossible to think straight during the exam weeks. I'm back at home from the two days stay at one of the prestigious hotel in Jerudong. I celebrated my 19th birthday there and it was awesome. Brought along my girlfriends. My party was awesome accept some staffs were absolutely unbelievably unprofessional towards handling their guest, me. Here are the things that happened:

12.00 pm : arrived
12.30 pm : was at the coffee house with my gfs. Food was not as expected, have tasted better elsewhere but not bad. However there were dishes I never dreamt I would taste ever. For example its called the mixed veggie with blueberry sauce, I think, it tasted like over boiled(wilted/soggy) veggies mixed together with milk, butter and blueberry(all blended). Lactose and citric acid DO NOT go together. It was just NASTY.
02.00 pm : Went to cinema with gfs and watched Rapunzel. Recommend everyone to watch this. Voiced by mandy moore and the lead actor in chuck. Didn’t knew he had a nice voice. So walt disney-ish.
03.40 pm : movie finished. And I asked for a buggy to send my friends and I to the country club.
04.20 pm : buggy still had not shown up
04.30 pm : with my 4 inch heels, me, the hotel's guest had to WALK all the way to the main building. This was in the late afternoon when the sun is shinning so brightly and it was terribly HOT! And btw the buggy did not show up at the cinema. We took a buggy from the main building.
04.40 pm : show up at the country club and asked if there was an empty lane for bowling. The receptionist at the "so called" posh club went on the phone and the conversation in front of me, the hotel guest, goes like this…. (of course idk what was the other person on the other line was saying)

"helo? Ada lane kusong sana?"….
"bah jangan tah ko kan mentel di sini ani, ada urang kan main ne"

…. (sometime after she put the phone down) " if labih 4 urg sebilik kami charge pulang tu" …. And we had 2 rooms. My gfs and I were 6 people altogether.

….and I was like…. OMG unbelievable. Not to mention unprofessional. I have nothing against speaking malay for I am a malay it just that the tone and approach makes it sound so wrong. Its lucky I don’t have guests from overseas or not it would have been embarrassing because that is not how we here behave.
I've been to this place so many times and not even once the receptionist was as this unprofessional. And the last part about the charging… WHY OH WHY would she bring up that in front of my guests. She should have dealt it with me and only me not in front my guests. And guess what else, while waiting for the buggy service to take me back, one of the staff was clipping his nails at the front entrance.

*my friends and I the parted and I went back to my room

06.00 pm : asked for and extra bed cause my brother is too huge to share beds with me and too noisy when sleeping next to grandma. I called for the service. I had been staying in different hotels since I can remember NEVER the conversation goes like this….

Room Service: good evening blablabla
Me: I would like an extra bed
RS : are u aware that it will be charged?>>>> WTH dude?
Me: of course.

I know its not a big deal to point this out but why is it when people ask for their service they must mention the price first? Its not that they can't charge it to our room or its not that we want to runaway…. And of course the extra bed comes with NO pillow. Maybe they expect us to bring our own cause I called for an extra pillow like a gazillion times.

11.00 pm : went for moviethe social network. So awesome that movie.
01.00 am : had to asked my parents who were sleeping at that time to call the buggy service to pick us up because the buggy service for idk what reason would not stop by and pick guests up from the cinema.

The second day was okay because we just slept in the room because we were too exhausted. All the facilities are located miles away from our room (in the main building) and when we reached there we were too exhausted to do what we wanted. Waiting for a buggy service is the killer. Fades away our holiday mood. Too many guests but shortage of staff, scratch that, trained staff.

The only thing I enjoyed during this holiday was the architecture, my cake and the coffee house staffs. The others, you tell me. I'm still exhausted by the trip.
